Minutes
1. Health & Safety
a. Meet with Yaz Emrani, Town Engineer, regarding improper parking on
trails.
i. Meeting has yet to be scheduled.
b. Review barn permit inspection process and LEHC role in guiding
staff, committees, and residences.
i. Sage Schaan, Town Planning Director, provided a draft document
“LEHC Procedures for Planning and Building Review (Draft 1: Rev
3-26-24)”. He emphasized the importance of consistency with
respect to site visits. The Committee requested amending the
document to clarify that full LEHC review can be at a “regularly
scheduled” or “special meeting”, and otherwise gave preliminary
approval.
ii. The Committee reviewed two recent action letters from the ASRB,
the first of which to Kevin Schwarckopf of CJW Architecture dated
December 13, 2023, and the second of which to Adam Bittle of
Architecture Allure dated February 26, 2024. The committee
provided comments on the wording to achieve greater clarity.
2. Public Outreach
a. Status of revisions toKeeping Horses in Woodside.
i. Draft content regarding Shelter has been provided to the
Subcommittee and is in process. Fentress to draft content
regarding Ventilation. John to schedule an April meeting of the
Subcommittee and a meeting with ASRB.
b. Status of FAQ booklet on navigating building process.
i. Nothing significant to report.
c. Status of review of new website.
i. Nothing significant to report.

Public Communications:
Persons wishing to address the Committee on any appropriate subjects are invited to do so. Please note, however,
that the Committee is not able to undertake extended discussion or to act on non-agenda items. Such items can be
referred to staff for appropriate action, which may include placement on a future agenda. As a courtesy to others, the
communications should be kept to a three-minute limit.

Old Business:
1. Health and Safety– Report from Subcommittee. Continuing discussion on existing issues
and town operations such as improper parking on trails, stabling, environmental impact on
livestock.
a. Meeting with town on guidelines for parking on trails, pending new staff. Yaz on
board, delay meeting until up to speed. Consider joint project with Trails
Committee.
b. Review of barn permit inspection process and LEHC role in guiding staff,
committees, and residents. Review of Sage presentation of committee interaction.

2. Public Outreach – Report from Subcommittee. Continuing discussion on existing issues
related to educational projects such as signage, website, publications, accomplishments of
local equestrians.
