THE WOODWARD MUNICIPAL AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF WOODWARD, WOODWARD COUNTY,
OKLAHOMA, MET IN REGULAR SESSION IN THE COMMISSION CHAMBERS OF CITY HALL ON MONDAY,
FEBRUARY 7, 2022, AT 7:00 P.M.
(As prescribed by law, meeting notice and agenda were filed with the Office of the City Clerk at 9:00 a.m. and posted at
City Hall at 9:15 a.m. on February 4, 2022.)
Chairman Bogdahn called the meeting to order, declaring a quorum present.

The Consent Docket was presented to the Authority for approval.
Items on the Consent Docket were as follows:
A. Approve minutes of the regular meeting of January 18, 2022.
There being no items removed, Trustee Fisher made a motion, seconded by Trustee Liles, to approve the Consent Docket
as presented.

NAYS: None
The motion carried.
Item three on the agenda was to consider and take action with respect to approval or disapproval of Resolution No. 2022-4
declaring an immediate emergency exists and that the immediate outlay of funds in excess of seventy-five thousand
dollars ($75,000) is necessary in order to avoid substantial damage to property, being the Boiling Springs Golf Course,
authorizing and approving the expenditure of funds for the drilling, completing and housing of a well for irrigation of
Boiling Springs Golf Course, and for the waiving of competitive bidding related to the project to address such emergency.
City Manager Barnett stated that the wet well has deteriorated to the point that it has to be replaced. Jeff Wagner, Boiling
Springs Golf Course Superintendent/General Manager stated that the only contractor available is out of Arkansas and can
begin replacement of the well this month and has no other availability until next winter. City Manager Barnett further
stated that we could lose the irrigation system if we wait until next winter, and it would be detrimental to the Golf Course.
City Attorney Aaron Sims stated that statute allows this procedure for the protection of the significant asset for the
Authority. Commissioner Fisher made a motion, seconded by Commissioner Brown, to adopt Resolution No. 2022-4.

The motion carried.
There being no further business, Chairman Bogdahn adjourned the meeting.
