CALL TO ORDER
Mayor pro tern Jeff Forrester, Chair, called the interview session to order at 5: 32 p. m. Present were Councilman
David R. Duke and Councilman Scott Williams.
Also present were staff members Stephanie Storm, City Secretary, and Erin Day, Assistant to the City Secretary.
INTERVIEWS CONDUCTED
Applicants interviewed included: Kim Mullis, Harold Gouge, Richard Covington, Ashleigh Rodriguez, Sharon
Osisanya, Gloria Suarez, Jennifer Grieser, Gerald Dyson, Anita Jones, Erin Williams, Joseph Murdock, Steve
Shank, Christina Null, James Byrne, Byron Betler, Derek Trent, and Craig Allen.
Applicants withdrawing their applications included: Ebony Foreman and Abiy Birhanu.
Amanda Cooper, Nicholas Puente, Amber Porter, Michael Innella, and Eric Klein were unable to attend the
interviews.
The panel took a break from 7: 15- 7: 34 p. m.
Following the final interview, the panel discussed final recommendations to the individual boards which will be
presented to the full Council on June 14, 2022. Approved board members will take their positions July 1, 2022.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further interviews to conduct, the session was adjourned at 8: 43 p. m.

Council Chambers - 300 Country Club Road, Building #100, Wylie, Texas 75098
The City of Wylie Boards and Commissions Interview Panel will be interviewing applicants for consideration of
appointments to Wylie Boards and Commissions.
Applicants have been scheduled to be interviewed by the Interview Panel on the posted dates. The public is invited
to attend.
All discussions will be in open session and the panel will make its recommendations to the entire Council at the
June 14, 2022 Regular City Council meeting. The City Council then officially accepts nominations and votes on
the appointments.
After the appointments are official, all board members are sworn in and administered their oath of office prior to
their first board or commission meeting in July. Terms of office are generally two-years beginning in July.
A quorum of the City Council members may or may not be present for these interviews. No action of the City
Council will be taken at these interview meetings.
