CALL TO ORDER
Councilman David R. Duke called the interview session to order at 5: 37 p.m. Present were Councilman Dave
Strang.
Also present were staff members City Secretary Stephanie Storm; Assistant to the City Secretary Mary Bradley;
Parks and Recreation Supervisor Julie Pannell; and Library Director Ofilia Barrera.
INTERVIEWS CONDUCTED
Staff liaisons interviewed included: Library Board liaison Ofilia Barrera.
Applicants interviewed included: Amber Porter and Monica Munoz.
Mayor Pro Tem Gino Mulliqi took his seat at the dais at 5: 45 p. m.
The panel continued to interview: Bryan Rogers, Donlene Jimenez ( Nyazai), Laurie Black, Matthew Busick, Joe
Chandler, Mallory Morris, Eliza Clement, Jacob Hodge, Bekka Herpeche, Valerie Warrior, Tarah Harrison, Sarah
Sponsel, Scott Hevel, Joel Walters, Whitney McDougall, Zachary Todd, Rifat Alam, Brian Arnold, Nathan Cole,
and Michael Schwerin.
The panel took a break from 6: 27- 6: 35 and 7: 53- 8: 00 p. m.
The Interview Panel deliberated and made their board and commission appointment recommendations.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further interviews to conduct, the session was adjourned at 8: 42 p. m.

The City of Wylie Boards and Commissions Interview Panel will be interviewing applicants for consideration of
appointments to Wylie Boards and Commissions. Applicants have been scheduled to be interviewed by the
Interview Panel on the posted dates. The public is invited to attend. All discussions will be in open session and the
panel will make its recommendations to the entire Council at the June 11, 2025 Regular City Council meeting where
the City Council then officially considers the nominations and votes on the appointments. After the appointments
are official, all board members are sworn in and administered their oath of office prior to their first board or
commission meeting in July. Terms of office are generally two-years beginning in July. A quorum of the City
Council members may or may not be present for these interviews. No action of the City Council will be taken at
these interview meetings.
