Wylie Municipal Walking Trails Art 3 (2) Selection Panel Meeting December 11, 2024 – 6:30 PM Council Chambers - 300 Country Club Road, Building #100, Wylie, Texas 75098 CALL TO ORDER DISCUSSION ITEMS DS1. A presentation by three semi-final artists will take place for proposals for the Municipal Walking Trails, Phase 3 (2). The public is invited to make comments to the semi-final artists who will be in attendance regarding what they like in the Native American hunter artwork proposals. The final piece will be located behind Wylie City Hall and the Recreation Center/Library on the walking trails. A recommendation will be taken following a discussion with the Public Arts Advisory Board Selection Panel regarding the final artist selection for the site. Semi-final artists include: Seth Vandable, Jessie Schattner representing Gillie & Marc, and Wesley Clark. A quorum of the Public Art Advisory Board may be present for the presentations but will take no action. The board will meet immediately after the selection panel to discuss the finalists and take action for a recommendation to the City Council for approval of the final artist, design and associated contract.
