Wylie Zoning Board of Adjustment Regular Meeting May 17, 2021 - 6:30 PM Council Chambers - 300 Country Club Road, Building #100, Wylie, Texas 75098 CALL TO ORDER COMMENTS ON NON-AGENDA ITEMS Any member of the public may address the Board regarding an item that is not listed on the Agenda. Members of the public must fill out a form prior to the meeting in order to speak. The Board requests that comments be limited to three minutes for an individual, six minutes for a group. In addition, the Board is not allowed to converse, deliberate or take action on any matter presented during citizen participation. CONSENT AGENDA All matters listed under the Consent Agenda are considered to be routine by the Zoning Board of Adjustment and will be enacted by one motion. There will not be separate discussion of these items. If discussion is desired, that item will be removed from the Consent Agenda and will be considered separately. A. Consider and act upon approval of the Minutes from the March 22, 2021 Special Called Meeting. REGULAR AGENDA 1. Hold a Public Hearing to consider and act upon a request by Shelly Tsai for a variance to Figure 4-3, Sections 4.3.E.1(a), 4.3.E.4(a) and Figure 5-3 of the Zoning Ordinance to allow for a reduction in the required setbacks, landscaping and parking for a re-development located at 501C N State Highway 78. ZBA 2021-05 2. Hold a Public Hearing to consider and act upon a request by Jessica Schrader for a variance to Section V..II.14 and Section V.II.15 of Planned Development 2002-52 to allow for a reduction in the required side and rear setbacks of accessories structures. Property located at 1512 Canyon Road. ZBA 2021-06 3. Hold a Public Hearing to consider and act upon a request by Kevin Foley for a variance to 5.2.J.8 of the Zoning Ordinance to allow for an independent self-contained dwelling unit as an accessory use within the structure of an office/showroom use. Property located at 25 Steel Road. ZBA 2021-07 WORK SESSION RECONVENE INTO REGULAR SESSION EXECUTIVE SESSION RECONVENE INTO OPEN SESSION Take any action as a result from Executive Session.
