Jeanne called the meeting to order. Members present: lnez Andrews, Margarete
Albrecht, Jeanne Riggs and Teddye Sells. The minutes were read, the motion was
made and seconded that the minutes be accepted, motion passed.

attended the Summer Reading Workshop on February 3'd. Th¡s workshop was
sponsored by Oklahoma Department of Libraries at the Seminole library.
On March 28th L¡ndsay Ogle attended her final Public library Certification

grades 1st-5th grades

7. February gth OHCE had storytime for pre-K through 2nd grade. The title
of the program was "sharing and Caring Storytime". The children made
valentines and learned about the importance of love and kindness.
8. March 9th OltCg had storytime for pre-K through 2nd grade. The title of
the program was "showers and Flowers Storytime". Seeds were
planted.
9. March 20th Canadian County OSU Extension agent Courtney Keck
presented a program on "How to grow seeds". After the program seeds
were planted. This program was for grades 1-5.

TLC through April.

2. Shawna continues weekly computer programs for seniors at the Senior
Center. The month of January focusedon getting started, using a PC.

a. February 4th The Chocolate Festival was held. Ladies Library Club and Friends

a. February 24th Sara presenter at OLOA workshop "Planning Your Library's
Future: Restructuring for Better Service" at NW OKC l'ibrary, focus on
munícípal l.ibrarÍes.
b. February L6th Friends of the Library held the first meeting in the newlotd
buitding
c. The 2Ot7-2A18 budget was turned in. Due to Yukon's budget difficulties the
library is to carefully control spending. Sara has asked for tuition
reimbursement for Shawna and new Hear/Air unit for quiet readlng room.
She will be meeting with the City manager on March 18th.
