Minutes THE TRAFFIC AND TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION THE TRAFFIC AND TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION MET IN REGULAR SESSION ON MARCH 12, 2024 AT THE CENTENNIAL BUILDING IN THE CITY COUNCIL CONFERENCE ROOM. THE MEETING WAS HELD AT 6:30 PM. ROLL CALL: James Montgomery Charlie Lee Rick Cacini Tim Peters Adam Shriver CITY OFFICIALS: Arnold Adams, Public Works Director Jessica Rodriquez, Public Works Item 1: Discuss and approve the minutes of the regular Traffic Commission Meeting: February13, 2024 Motion for minutes to be approved: Motion – Rick Cacini Second – James Montgomery The motion passed unanimously. Item 2: Visitors: None Item 3: Request for Crosswalk & Crosswalk buttons installed at the intersection of Main Street & N. Yukon Parkway/S. Yukon Parkway - J. Montgomery; recommendation of a pedestrian study to be done at this location.  Motion – James Montgomery Second – Rick Cacini Item 4: Discuss Traffic Concerns A. Shriver; Lights are still off at Main & Yukon Parkway. J. Montgomery; Turn signal flashes yellow while the others go red, then turn signal is a steady yellow, then turns to red arrow. C. Lee; Yukon Parkway & Main – turn signal changes when no one is there, going East bound. T. Peters; Two parents who attend Bounce Academy have reached out to him regarding speeding on Vandament thru that area. Will talk with Major Roberson. R. Cacini; Vandament & Yukon Parkway lights A.
