THE TRAFFIC AND TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION
THE TRAFFIC AND TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION MET IN REGULAR SESSION ON
DECEMBER 10, 2024 AT THE CENTENNIAL BUILDING IN THE CITY COUNCIL
CONFERENCE ROOM. THE MEETING WAS HELD AT 6:30 PM.

Item 1: Discuss and approve the minutes of the Regular Traffic Commission
Meeting: October 08, 2024
- Peters; Motion to approve minutes
- Puckett; Second motion
Vote: 3 - yes
Item 2: Visitors - None
Item 3: - Peters; Motion to deny request
- Montgomery; Second motion
Vote: 3 - yes
Item 4: Table request due to no pedestrians crossing this streets when the
traffic count was being conducted & the traffic count is still
ongoing.

Item 5: Change conflicting Traffic Commission dates to the following;
- January 21, 2025
- September 16, 2025
- November 03, 2025
Item 6: Montgomery; Hwy 66 & Yukon Pkwy, on the turn signal, when no
one is there, it’s a solid green instead of a flashing yellow. This was
happening about a month ago.
Adams; will check on the programming due to accidents that
occurred there not too long ago.

10th intersection. Heavy traffic area and nothing to assist
pedestrians walking to/from businesses.
