REVISED AGENDA
Consistent with the March 13, 2020 Arizona Attorney General opinion Relating to Arizona’s
Open Meeting Law and COVID-19, in order to protect the public and reduce the chance of
COVID-19 transmission, the March 17, 2020 Regular Work Session and March 18, 2020
Regular City Council meetings will be conducted remotely through technological means.
REVISED
City Council Chambers will be closed to the public as there are no
public hearings scheduled.
Members of the public may view the meetings live streamed on the City of Yuma website and
City Channels 73 and 72. Recordings of the meetings will be available on the City’s website
after the meeting.
Public comment regarding any agenda item shall be limited to those provided in written format to
the City Clerk at email address publiccomment@yumaaz.gov no later than 30 minutes prior to
the start of the scheduled meeting.
Comments received timely will be read into the record when the referenced agenda item is
discussed. The Call to the Public portion of the March 18, 2020 regular City Council Meeting is
cancelled.

Order Improvements for Municipal Improvement District (MID) No.
112 to serve Araby North Subdivision, to operate, maintain and
repair landscaping improvements within, near and adjacent to the
retention and detention basins and parkings and parkways and
related facilities together with appurtenant structures (Landscape
Improvements); declaring the Landscape Improvements to be of
more than local or ordinary benefit, and that the costs of the

This is the City Administrator’s opportunity to give notice to the City Council of current events
impacting the City. Comments are intended to be informational only and no discussion,
deliberation or decision will occur on this item.

VIII. CALL TO THE PUBLIC

Members of the public may address the City Council on matters that are not listed on the City
Council agenda. The City Council cannot discuss or take legal action on any matter raised
unless it is properly noticed for discussion and legal action. At the conclusion of the Call to the
Public, individual members of the City Council may respond to criticism made by those who
have addressed the City Council, may ask staff to review a matter or may ask that a matter be
placed on a future agenda. All City Council meetings are recorded and videotaped.
