Voting procedures will remain as required by the Yuma City Charter and other applicable laws. Consistent with the March 13, 2020 Arizona Attorney General opinion Relating to Arizona’s Open Meeting Law and COVID-19, in order to protect the public and reduce the chance of COVID-19 transmission, the April 15, 2020 Regular City Council meeting will be conducted remotely through technological means. City Council Chambers will be closed to the public as there are no public hearings scheduled. Members of the public may view the meetings live streamed on the City of Yuma website and City Channel 73. Recordings of the meetings will be available on the City’s website after the meeting. Public comment regarding any agenda item shall be limited to those provided in written format to the City Clerk at email address publiccomment@yumaaz.gov no later than 30 minutes prior to the start of the scheduled meeting. Comments received timely will be entered or read into the record when the referenced agenda item is discussed. The Call to the Public portion of the April 15, 2020 regular City Council Meeting is cancelled. The Worksession and Citizens's Forum previously scheduled for April 14, 2020 are cancelled.
