City of Yuma City Council Worksession Special Worksession/Roundtable Agenda Tuesday, September 6, 2016 6:30 PM Conference Room #190 One City Plaza, Yuma Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Resolution R2008-55 that one or more members of the Yuma City Council may participate in person or by telephonic, video or internet conferencing. Voting procedures will remain as required by the Yuma City Charter and other applicable laws. CALL TO ORDER I. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OVERVIEW Kevin Wilkins, Economic Development Administrator, will provide an overview of the City's current economic development status and it's strategy for the future, followed by discussion and/or questions from City Council. II. EXECUTIVE SESSION An Executive Session may be called during this public meeting for the purpose of receiving legal advice for items included on the September 7, 2016 Regular City Council Meeting, the September 6, 2016 Regular Worksession and the September 6, 2016 Citizen’s Forum agendas, pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.03 A (1, 3, 4 and/or 7) and the following items: A. Discussion, consultation with and/or instruction to legal counsel, regarding the City of Yuma v. Clark et al. (A.R.S. 38-431.03 A3 & A4) B. Discussion, consultation with and/or instruction to legal counsel regarding the Yuma City Charter, City Code and other provisions related to local preference. (A.R.S. 38-431.03 A3 & A4) C. Discussion, consultation with and/or instruction to legal counsel regarding the Pivot Point Phase II DDA and Pivot Point Phase II Land and Improvement Lease. (A.R.S. 38-431.03 A3 & A4) D. Discussion, consultation with and/or instruction to legal counsel, regarding a potential new Riverfront component, including amendments to the Master Development and Disposition Agreement and terms of the component agreement. (A.R.S. 38-431.03 A3, A4 & A7) E. Discussion, consultation with and/or instruction to legal counsel, regarding a proposed telecommunications agreement.
