Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Resolution R2008-55 that one or more members of the Yuma City
Council may participate in person or by telephonic, video or internet conferencing. Voting procedures
will remain as required by the Yuma City Charter and other applicable laws.
CALL TO ORDER
I. RELAY FOR LIFE COMMUNITY
John Courtis, Executive Director of the Yuma Chamber of Commerce, in conjunction with the
American Cancer Society, wishes to recognize the City's partnership and efforts in the
success of making the Relay for Life of Yuma event the number one cancer fundraiser in the
four-corner region; followed by questions and/or discussion from City Council.
II. INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AUTHORITY: YUMA REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER
MASTER LEASE AND SUBLEASE
Wayne Benesch, Attorney for the Industrial Development Authority will brief City Council on
the Master Lease and Sublease related to Yuma Regional Medical Center, followed by
questions and/or discussion from City Council.
III. REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA OF MARCH 1, 2017.
City Council discussion and/or questions to City staff on any Regular City Council Meeting
agenda item. (For a listing of agenda items, the Regular City Council meeting agenda is
posted adjacent to this worksession agenda and is available in the Office of the City Clerk and
on the City’s website at www.YumaAz.gov).
IV. EXECUTIVE SESSION
An Executive Session may be called during this public meeting for the purpose of receiving legal
advice for items included on the March 1, 2017 Regular City Council Meeting, the February 28, 2017
Regular Worksession and the February 28, 2017 Citizen’s Forum agendas, pursuant to A.R.S.
Section 38-431.03 A (1, 3, 4 and/or 7) and the following items:

A. Discussion, consultation with and/or instruction to legal counsel regarding litigation of
League of Arizona Cities and Towns, City of Phoenix, City of Yuma, et al v. State of Arizona,
et al. (A.R.S. 38-431.03 A3 & A4)
