Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Resolution R2015-047 that one or more members of the
Yuma City Council may participate in person or by telephonic, video or internet conferencing.
Voting procedures will remain as required by the Yuma City Charter and other applicable laws.
CALL TO ORDER
I. MCAS - WTI TRAINING
Briefing by representatives of Marine Corps Air Station - Yuma regarding the upcoming
Weapons and Tactics Instructor Exercise scheduled for October 5, 2018, followed by
discussion and/or questions from the City Council.
II. TOBACCO 21
Melissa Norred will discuss and provide an update of the Tobacco 21 Program, followed by
discussion and/or questions from City Council.
III. SUMMER LAW ENFORCEMENT CAMP
Briefing by Yuma Police Department, Arizona Western College and attendees of the
Summer Law Enforcement Camp for teenagers that took place in July 2018, followed by
discussion and/or questions from City Council.
IV. REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA OF AUGUST 15, 2018.
City Council discussion and/or questions to City staff on any Regular City Council Meeting
agenda item. (For a listing of agenda items, the Regular City Council meeting agenda is
posted adjacent to this worksession agenda and is available in the Office of the City Clerk
and on the City’s website at www.YumaAz.gov).

An Executive Session may be called during this public meeting for the purpose of receiving
legal advice for items included on the August 15, 2018 Regular City Council Meeting, the
August 14, 2018 Regular Worksession and the August 14, 2018 Citizen’s Forum agendas,
