City of Yuma City Council Worksession Agenda Tuesday, October 2, 2018 6:00 PM Yuma City Hall Council Chambers One City Plaza, Yuma Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Resolution R2015-047 that one or more members of the Yuma City Council may participate in person or by telephonic, video or internet conferencing. Voting procedures will remain as required by the Yuma City Charter and other applicable laws. CALL TO ORDER I. OVERVIEW OF CONSTRUCTION MANAGER AT RISK SERVICES City Engineer, Jeff Kramer, will provide an overview of the Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) method of services, followed by discussion and/or questions from City Council. II. COMPENSATION AND PAY PLAN DISCUSSION Continued discussions between City Council and staff regarding employee compensation and pay plans that were presented at the September 18, 2018 Worksession. III. REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA OF OCTOBER 3, 2018. City Council discussion and/or questions to City staff on any Regular City Council Meeting agenda item. (For a listing of agenda items, the Regular City Council meeting agenda is posted adjacent to this worksession agenda and is available in the Office of the City Clerk and on the City’s website at www.YumaAz.gov). IV. EXECUTIVE SESSION An Executive Session may be called during this public meeting for the purpose of receiving legal advice for items included on the October 3, 2018 Regular City Council Meeting, the October 2, 2018 Regular Worksession and the October 2, 2018 Citizen’s Forum agendas, pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.03 A (1, 3, 4, 5 and/or 7) and the following items: A. Discussion, consultation with and/or instruction to legal counsel regarding acceptance or rejection of subdivision infrastructure that does not comply with City standards. (ARS 38-431.03 A3 & A4) B. Discussion, consultation with and/or instruction to legal counsel regarding anticipated FCC order affecting City of Yuma. Discussion or consultation with City Council in order to consider its position and instruct the City Administrator and City Attorney regarding negotiations with employee organizations on salaries, salary schedules or compensation paid to employees.
