Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Resolution R2015-047 that one or more members of the
Yuma City Council may participate in person or by telephonic, video or internet conferencing.
Voting procedures will remain as required by the Yuma City Charter and other applicable laws.
CALL TO ORDER
I. MARINE CORPS AIR STATION - AIR INSTALLATION COMPATIBLE USE ZONE
Colonel David Suggs, Commanding Officer of MCAS-Yuma will provide a briefing on their
Air Installations Compatible Use Zones study, including recommendations and strategies.
II. HERITAGE FESTIVALS 2019 REPORT
Marketing Specialist, Carrie Ring, and Joanne Fiser, Heritage Festivals Coordinator, will
present the activities and statistics from the Heritage Festival's 2019 season.
III. REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA OF JULY 17, 2019.
City Council discussion and/or questions to City staff on any Regular City Council Meeting
agenda item. (For a listing of agenda items, the Regular City Council meeting agenda is
posted adjacent to this worksession agenda and is available in the Office of the City Clerk
and on the City’s website at www.YumaAz.gov).
IV. EXECUTIVE SESSION
An Executive Session may be called during this public meeting for the purpose of receiving
legal advice for items included on the July 17, 2019 Regular City Council Meeting, the July 16,
2019 Regular Worksession and the July 16, 2019 Citizen’s Forum agendas, pursuant to A.R.S.
Section 38-431.03 A (1, 3, 4 and/or 7) and the following items:
A. Discussion, consultation with and/or instruction to legal counsel regarding COY v. the
Salvation Army. (A.R.S. 38-431.03 A3, A4 & A7)
B. Discussion, consultation with and/or instruction to legal counsel regarding potential
litigation. (A.R.S. 38-431.03 A3 & A4)
