City of Yuma City Council Worksession Agenda Tuesday, February 18, 2020 6:00 PM Yuma City Hall Council Chambers One City Plaza, Yuma Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Resolution R2015-047 that one or more members of the Yuma City Council may participate in person or by telephonic, video or internet conferencing. Voting procedures will remain as required by the Yuma City Charter and other applicable laws. CALL TO ORDER I. YUMA SPECIAL OLYMPICS & CIRCLE OF FRIENDS PROGRAMS Judy Phillips and Kelly Smith, representatives of the Yuma Special Olympics and Circle of Friends Programs will provide a briefing of the two programs, followed by discussion and/or questions from City Council. II. YUMA CROSSING NATIONAL HERITAGE AREA UPDATE Lowell Perry, Executive Director of YCNHA, will provide a update on the YCNHA with a focus on mission critical historic preservation projects at the Territorial Prison, Colorado River State Historic Park and the old City Hall facility, followed by discussion and/or questions from City Council. III. SPECIAL EVENT VENDOR BUSINESS LICENSE REQUIREMENTS Debbie Wendt, Director of Parks & Recreation, and Lisa Marlin, Finance Director, will provide an overview of the current business license requirements placed on Special Event vendors, examples of what other cities/towns require, and proposed changes to the City's current ordinance, followed by discussion and/or questions from City Council. IV. REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA OF FEBRUARY 19, 2020 City Council discussion and/or questions to City staff on any Regular City Council Meeting agenda item. Section 38-431.03 A (1, 3, 4 and/or 7) and the following items: A. Discussion, consultation with, and/or instruction to legal counsel, regarding potential sale of two different parcels of real property.
