STATE AND CITY INFRASTRUCTURE - ROADS: Discuss Highway Users’ Fund (HURF) restoration as well as bills to increase user fees and identification of additional revenues necessary to make up for shortfalls in Yuma’s needs for roadway repairs and construction. B. PROTECTIONS - MILITARY FACILITIES: Discuss protections and investments for Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) Yuma and Yuma Proving Grounds (YPG) including Highway 95 project, base protection act A.R.S. § 28-8481, and HB 2310 investments for County Fair relocation. GOVERNOR'S SUPPORT FOR RURAL COMMUNITIES: Discuss Governor’s initiatives in rural broadband, removing wireless provider exemption, removing additional layers of bureaucracy at border inspections, and creating rural economic improvement programs. D. LOCAL ISSUES NEED LOCAL SOLUTIONS - STATEWIDE ISSUES NEED STATEWIDE SOLUTIONS: Discuss local solutions to local issues while creating statewide solutions for statewide issues including preemption and shifts of costs and liabilities onto local communities without a funding mechanism.
