City of Yuma City Council Worksession Agenda Tuesday, July 19, 2022 5:30 PM Yuma City Hall Council Chambers One City Plaza, Yuma Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Resolution R2015-047 that one or more members of the Yuma City Council may participate in person or by telephonic, video or internet conferencing. Voting procedures will remain as required by the Yuma City Charter and other applicable laws. CALL TO ORDER I. TARGET INDUSTRY ANALYSIS Brian Nottingham, Strategic Advisor from Thomas P. Miller & Associates, will provide an overview of the findings of the Target Industry Analysis, that will include industry sector opportunities and applicable sub-sectors that best fit the City’s assets and market strengths. II. EAST MESA PARK UPDATE Eric Urfer, Parks and Recreation Director, and Aaron Allan, Vice President and Principal Landscape Architect from J2 Design, will provide an update on the East Mesa Park project, including updated cost estimates and a phased project development plan. III. REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA OF JULY 20, 2022 City Council discussion and/or questions to City staff on any Regular City Council Meeting agenda item. (For a listing of agenda items, the Regular City Council meeting agenda is posted adjacent to this worksession agenda and is available in the Office of the City Clerk and on the City’s website at www.YumaAz.gov). EXECUTIVE SESSION An Executive Session may be called during this public meeting for the purpose of receiving legal advice for items included on the July 20, 2022, Regular City Council Meeting and the July 19, 2022, Regular Worksession agendas, pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.03 A (1, 3, 4 and/or 7) and the following items: A. There are no additional executive session items scheduled at this time.
