City of Yuma City Council Worksession Agenda Tuesday, August 5, 2025 5:30 PM Yuma City Hall Council Chambers One City Plaza, Yuma Notice is hereby given, pursuant to Resolution R2015-047 that one or more members of the Yuma City Council may participate in person or by telephonic, video or internet conferencing. Voting procedures will remain as required by the Yuma City Charter and other applicable laws. CALL TO ORDER I. AFFORDABLE HOUSING PLAN UPDATE Alyssa Linville, Director of Community Development, will provide additional information to City Council on the Affordable Housing Plan, followed by questions and/or discussion with City Council. II. BUILDING CODE UPDATES Randall Crist, Building Official, will brief City Council on proposed updates to the Building Code, followed by questions and/or discussion with City Council. III. REGULAR CITY COUNCIL MEETING AGENDA OF AUGUST 6, 2025 City Council discussion and/or questions to City staff on any Regular City Council Meeting agenda item. (For a listing of agenda items, the Regular City Council meeting agenda is posted adjacent to this worksession agenda and is available in the Office of the City Clerk and on the City’s website at www.YumaAz.gov). IV. EXECUTIVE SESSION An Executive Session may be called during this public meeting for the purpose of receiving legal advice for items included on the August 6, 2025, Regular City Council Meeting and the August 5, 2025, Regular Worksession agendas, pursuant to A.R.S. Section 38-431.03 A (1, 3, 4 and/or 7) and the following items: A. Discussion, consultation with and/or instruction to legal counsel regarding a potential Development Agreement with Juniper Tree Academy. (A.R.S. §38-431.03 A3, A4 & A7) B. Discussion, consultation with and/or instruction to legal counsel regarding the potential sale of real property.
