TOWN OF ZIONSVILLE, INDIANA BOARD OF POLICE COMMISSIONERS MARCH 21, 2022, PUBLIC MEETING 1100 WEST OAK STREET ZIONSVILLE, INDIANA MEETING MEMORANDA I. OPENING A. CALL TO ORDER: President Joe Culp called the meeting to order. B. MEMBERS IN ATTENDANCE: President Joe Culp, Vice President Suzy Nagy, Commissioner Josh Garrett, Commissioner Kristin Vargo, and Commissioner Graig Collings C. MEMBERS NOT IN ATTENDANCE: None D. OTHERS IN ATTENDANCE: Chief of Police Michael Spears, Captain Drake Sterling, Captain Marius Klykken, Heather Willey, Legal counsel for the Board of Police Commissioners, Tiffany Diefenderfer II. NEW MEMBERS SWORN IN AND APPOINTMENTS A. Kristin Vargo and Graig Collins were sworn in by Chief Spears. The new Commissioners introduced themselves. B. Commissioner Josh Garret made a motion to appoint Joe Culp as President of the Board. Commissioner Graig Collings seconded the  motion. All in favor. Motion passed with a 5-0 vote. C. President Joe Culp made a motion to appoint Josh Garrett as Vice President. Commissioner Josh Garrett seconded the motion. All in favor. The motion passed with a vote of 5-0. III. APPROVAL OF THE FOLLOWING MEETING MEMORANDA: A. President Joe Culp made a motion to approve the December 20,2021 Meeting Memoranda as submitted. Commissioner Suzy Nagy seconded the motion. All in favor. The motion passed with a vote of 5-0. IV. OLD BUSINESS A. None. V. NEW BUSINESS A. Presentation Chief Spears, Captain Sterling and Captain Klykken presented a presentation regarding the 5-year plan of ZPD and discussed the monthly report. VI. ADJOURN Commissioner Garrett made a motion to adjourn the meeting. President Culp seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion passed with a vote of 5-0. The next regular Board of Police Commissioners meeting is scheduled for Monday, April 18, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. or upon the conclusion of the Town Council meeting.
