Zionsville Architectural Review Committee - Meeting Minutes Location: Zionsville Town Hall Tuesday, January 22nd, 2019 ATTENDEES: Committee Members Present: • Mike Billig • Steve Freeland • Todd Rottmann • Steve Herron • David Rausch Committee Members Absent: • Carol Mullet • Cara Weber • Tom Casalini Others Present: • Janice Stevanovic, Town of Zionsville • Gene Thompson, Lions Club • Tom Robbins, Lions Club President David Rausch opened the meeting at 7:33 am. A Quorum was present. MEETING AGENDA and MINUTES: A new agenda and the December Minutes were reviewed and a motion to adopt both simultaneously for the meeting, contingent upon a change to financials in the minutes noted below, was made by Mike Billig and seconded by Steve Herron. Motion was approved unanimously. ELECTION OF OFFICERS: David Rausch, acting President, suggested he step aside as long-standing President of ZARC and nominated Todd Rottmann, acting Vice President, to hold the position of President. Tom Casalini was nominated as Vice President Steve Herron was nominated to maintain his position as Secretary A motion to appoint the sole nominees for each office was made by Steve Herron, seconded by Todd Rottmann. Motion was approved unanimously. REPORTS: The ZARC Financials were reviewed. The 2019 budget was set at $50,000. Two separate accounts of encumbered monies were carried over from 2018; $33,444 for Lions Club application, and $8,000 for 170 S. Main Street. EDITS: The provided report notes $33,400 for Lions Club which was to be adjusted to match the $33,444 actual. The provided report notes $8,000 for 170 S. Main, while the meeting minutes note $7,200 which was to be edited to match the $8,000 actual. OLD BUSINESS: 1. 170 South Main • No update for this meeting. More to come for February meeting. NEW BUSINESS: 1. Lions Club – Zionsville • Application and proposed façade modifications had been updated by the Applicant since the December meeting. • The new façade proposal and correlating ancillary structures and façade-grant-affected items were discussed at length with the Lions Club representatives. • Lions Club representatives are to take all notes provided and return with modifications that better reflect a proposal that ZARC would be willing to support. FEBRUARY MEETING DATE: February meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, February 26 th, 2019 ADJOURN: With no other new business, Steve Freeland made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Mike Billig, at 8:53 am.
