Pathways Committee Meeting Minutes - Amended June 27, 2017 6:00pm Meeting attendees: Art Small Evan Williams Elizabeth Hopper Tim Casady Jeff Edmundson Paul Watson Geoff Ruffer Amanda Vela Bret Brewer Committee Membership We picked up two new formal members to our committee: Geoff Ruffer and Faye Snodgrass. We hope Larry and Rick will continue to serve as possible. Widening Zionsville Road Elizabeth noted indicated that there was an upcoming meeting scheduled to provide information to the public regarding its status. Railways in Zionsville Evan showed the history of railways in Zionsville. Road Crossing Markings Paul noted that Zionsville Meadows is also onboard for better safety in crossing Ford Road in the Starkey Road area. Bret also added a similar problem a little further south on Ford Road at Hunt Club Road. Elizabeth offered to mention the Pathways Committee's concerns at the town staff meeting. She also offered to speak to the proper people to find the course of action necessary to get his Starkey/Ford Road Crossing concerns on the Safety Board Agenda. Oak Street and Rail Trail Crossing Anticipating a difficulty in making a connection at this intersection, we are hoping for signage in the interim that tout our best trail in the State underneath Oak Street and how to access it from the Zionsville Christian Church. Eagle Creek Pathway Tim offered to spearhead the effort for this pathway along Eagle Creek from Zionsville Road down to the 100' bridge. In conversations with Matt Dickey, Tim discovered many of the easements from the landowners along Eagle Creek were in jeopardy due to the meandering of Eagle Creek. We're now reassessing the priority of the potential pathway. Reviewing Priority Pathways We looked at all our current "future" pathways for updates…Evan will update the Master List and distribute it.
