Pathways Committee Meeting Minutes For March 14, 2022, 6:30 p.m. Onsite Meeting 1100 West Oak Street This meeting was conducted onsite. All members participated in person Members present: Justin Hage, Mark McDonald, Emily Makinson, Phil Mellencamp, Sarah Moore, Craig Melton Meeting was called to order at 6:35 pm. 1. Is there a shared Google drive for documents? Sarah will confirm with Amy 2. Bike Friendly App password - Sarah will look at physical documents to see if it’s there. Justin checking his email. 3. Discussed refresh of Strategic pathways plan and potential grant through Parks foundation as non-profit. Sarah to check on this. Questions that came up: Is the town able to fund a study? Can Lantz move money for study from Streets Department budget. Can the study be added to the Parks Master Plan? 4. Craig suggested Committee write letter to town with what the pathways committee would like to see from new development perspective. 5. Discussed volunteering for Ecofest 6. Discussion about whether there is value in having a logo for the committee. 7. Discussed potentially moving monthly meeting to 2nd Tuesdays. Meeting was adjourned at 7:43 p.m. Action Items: • Justin Follow up with Mindy about Overly Worman Dates • Sarah following up about logo and if there is someone at the town who could create one • Justin drafting letter to planning board, town council, etc. with our “wish list” for new development with regard to pathway commitments and connectivity.
