Zionsville Pathways Committee Meeting

May 10,2022 Pathways Committee Meeting Minutes Members Present: Justin Hage, Emily Makinson, Mark McDonald, Quincy Cunningham, Craig Melton 1. Discussed Bike Friendly app username/password. Craig checking with IT to see about shared drive 2. Missed the Grant window and would need other avenues of funding if we were to request trails study. Can path study be tacked on to vendor for strategic parks plan? 3. Craig suggested some of the paths associated with neighborhoods are probably covered under the parks plan and it’s too late to add to the scope. If we were to request a study of jus the pathways in the future, we would need to present to Town Council before October budgeting cycle. 4. Bike friendly app opening end of May. Emily will transfer thumb drive to town to be held in a safe place. 5. Craig discussed goal of Pathways group is really to complete the bike/walk friendly apps and promote path connectivity. With no funding and no authority it would be difficult to do more than this. 6. Action Items: • Emily to hand off thumb drive to Town • Emily to find or reset username and password for application • Justin to draft a letter to planning board/town regarding our wishlist of trail items • Craig to check with IT Emily Makinson, Pathways Committee Secretary
