Zionsville Pathways Committee Meeting

November 8,2022 Pathways Committee Meeting Minutes Members Present: Justin, Hage, Craig Melton, Emily Makinson, Sarah Moore Meeting began at 6:35 1. Discussed Bike Friendly Application. Went through incomplete portions to strategize next steps. Craig will reach out to ZPD for parts of sections C, D, E17-E31 and Lance Lantz for sections B14, D and E. Emily will reach out to Jarod to look over entire document and fill in any remaining open questions. 2. Discussed the working document titled Zionsville Pathways Master List. Updated list with approved and budgeted projects for 2023 including Maplelawn trail, North side of Mulberry, 875 by Trailside school, and trail at 400S. Added Midland Trace Trail to the master list. 3. Sarah questioned if any money designated for the pathways committee was put on the proposed 2023 budget through the Parks Board. Craig will check. 4. Discussed response to community member who emailed with question on what trails the committee is recommending to the town. Justin to follow up via email. 5. Next meeting will be moved to Dec. 12. Plan for Dec. 12 meeting is to discuss Committee framework and directives and consider how this committee could be more effective in the future. 6. Discussed things to Promote going into 2023 such as ZPD reflector giveaway, Bike racks on Main St, business discount for bikers. 7.
