ZIONSVILLE SAFETY BOARD MEETING MEMORANDA For July 24th, 2012 Zionsville Town Hall 1100 W. Oak Street 1. OPENING A. Call meeting to order – President Steve Mundy called the meeting to order at 12:00 p.m. Board members present: Steve Mundy & Tim Haak Members absent: Susana Suarez 2. MEETING ITEMS A. Approval of minutes from the June 25th, 2012 meeting: Mr. Haak motioned to approve the June 25th minutes, President Mundy seconded. All were in favor and motion was passed. B. Reports: None C. Old Business: None D. New Business: 1. Fire Department Conditional Job Offer: Chief VanGorder noted that Firefighter/Medic Brandi Cunningham recently gave notice that she wished to tender her resignation with the Zionsville Fire Department effective August 1st, 2012. Chief VanGorder requested authorization to extend a conditional offer of employment to the next individual on our hiring list, Samuel Alley. He also asked for authorization to move on to the next individual should Sam Alley not accept or not pass the Perf 77 testing. Mr. Haak motioned to extend a conditional job offer to Sam Alley and in the event that he does not accept it, authorize the Chief to proceed to the next person on the list.
