ZIONSVILLE SAFETY BOARD MEETING MEMORANDA For July 27th, 2015 Zionsville Town Hall 1100 W. Oak Street 1. OPENING A. Call meeting to order –Vice President Elizabeth Hopper called the meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. Board members present: Steve Mundy and Elizabeth Hopper Members absent: Susana Suarez 2. MEETING ITEMS A. Approval of minutes from the June 29, 2015 meeting: Mr. Mundy motioned to approve the June 29, 2015 minutes, Vice President Hopper seconded, all were in favor and motion was passed. B. Police and Fire Department Reports: Captain Musgrave reviewed an injury report for an injured police officer. C. Old Business: None D. New Business: a. Fire Department –Conditional Offers of Employment: Chief VanGorder noted two ZFD firefighters have submitted their resignations. He then requested approval to extend conditional offers of employment to Casey Curtis and Daniel Sanchez on our current approved hiring list. He also asked permission to move on to the next individuals on the hiring list should Mr. Curtis or Mr. Sanchez decline. Mr. Mundy motioned to approve the conditional offers of employment to Casey Curtis and Daniel Sanchez with latitude given to Chief VanGorder to move further down the list if so needed.
