SPECIAL COMPREHENSIVE PLAN JOINT MEETING OF THE ZIONSVILLE PLAN COMMISSION & THE TOWN COUNCIL MEETING MEMORANDA Plan Commission Members Present: David Franz, President; Chris Lake, Vice President; Josh Fedor, Mary Grabianowski, Jim Hurst, Cindy Madrick, Nick Plopper Council Members Present: Jason Plunkett, President; Brad Burk, Vice President; Tim McElderry, Craig Melton, Evan Norris, Sarah Sampson Absent: Joe Stein Also Present: Mayor John Stehr, Deputy Mayor Kate Swanson 1. OPENING Mayor Stehr called the meeting to order at 12:00 p.m. 2. INTRODUCTION – Mayor Stehr gave a brief overview of the meeting procedures. 3. PLANNING NEXT . Representatives from Planning Next gave a presentation outlining their proposal for Zionsville’s comprehensive plan, A question and answer session followed. 4. RUNDELL ERNSTBERGER ASSOCIATES Representatives from Rundell Ernsberger Associates (REA) gave a presentation outlining their proposal for Zionsville’s comprehensive plan, A question and answer session followed. 5. HWC ENGINEERING Representatives from HWC Engineering gave a presentation outlining their proposal for Zionsville’s comprehensive plan, A question and answer session followed. 6. DISCUSSION & VOTE Mayor Stehr, Deputy Mayor Swanson, Town Council and Plan Commission members discussed the presentations. All parties completed the paper ballot provided and submitted them to Mayor Stehr. Mayor Stehr read the following results: Planning Next – Two (2) votes. REA – One (1) vote. HWC Engineering – Twelve (12) votes. Mayor Stehr confirmed that HWC Engineering was the winning firm. 7.
