The meeting was conducted onsite. All members participated in person.
Present: Greta Sanderson, Michal Owens, Ellen Dennehy, Pam Diagostino, Amy Lacy, Roger
Collins, Mike Dale
I. Attendance taken 8:35 a.m.
II. Approved minutes from May 17, 2023 meeting
III. Verified all members can access his or her town email, tech support requested
IV. Update on initiatives and committee responsibilities
a. Events - Michal
i. We are officially signed-up for the Fall Festival parade. The theme is 70’s Disco.
We hope to incorporate the winning tree from Z’ Tree of the Year. We have a
trailer and truck and will start working this summer.
b. Z’ Tree of the Year
i. We read all of the entries and looked at all of the photos. Winner was selected by
vote.
ii. We will try to present to the winner at Town Council meeting in August.
iii. Pauline will contact the person who submitted and the owner of the property.
iv. Michal will work on the photo (either framed or printed on metal) and write the
explanation for the Town Council submission.

e. Outreach: Brad, Justin, Ellen– let HOAs earn designation for most trees/capita –
advocate replacing invasive species, are you connecting with your neighbors, Greta
to update the PZAZ website

a. Meeting with ZCS on “A Tree Can Be” curriculum
