III. Update on initiatives and committee responsibilities
a. Ordinances and preservation: - Pauline
b. Events (tree-planting day, Fall Festival) – Michal
c. Tree of the Year – Aug. 7 ZTC, winner announcement
d. Tree City designation: Lance/Roger
e. Outreach: Brad, Justin, Ellen– let HOAs earn designation for most trees/capita –
advocate replacing invasive species, are you connecting with your neighbors, Greta
to update the PZAZ website

a. Meeting with ZCS on “A Tree Can Be” curriculum

big at maturity, Pauline check DNR on tree types available early April
