City of Alameda Meeting Agenda Zoning Administrator Hearing Thursday, November 6, 2014 3:00 PM City Hall, 2263 Santa Clara Avenue, Conference Room 360, 3rd Floor, Alameda, CA 94501 Meetings held as needed on Tuesdays at 3:00 p.m. 1 CALL TO ORDER 2 PUBLIC COMMENT 3 PUBLIC HEARING 3-A 2014-1028 PLN14-0042 - 510 Central Avenue - Use Permit - Applicant: Glenn Groff Trust.A public hearing to consider a Use Permit to allow a twelve person residential care facility for the elderly. The facility was previously approved for six persons, Bay Harbour Residential Care Home, an allowed use in this zoning district. The facility would continue to provide 24 hour care for the residents. The project site is located within a R -5, General Residential District. Attachments: Exhibit 1 - Plans 3-B 2014-1029 PLN14-0652 - 2743 Fifth Street - Tri Pointe Homes Use Permit and Design Review for a temporary sales trailer, parking lot, and signage for the Alameda Landing new housing development. The trailer will operate between 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. seven days a week. The project site is located within an M-X, Mixed Use Planned Development District. The project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15311 - Accessory Structures. The trailer will be located at the corner of Stanton Street and Buena Vista Avenue, and it will operate between 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. seven days a week. The project is categorically exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Section 15311 - Accessory Structures. Attachments: Exhibit 1 - Plans1 4 ADJOURNMENT PLEASE NOTE: • Appeals of Zoning Administrator decisions are considered by the Planning Board. Appeals must be filed in the Community Development Department in writing stating the basis of appeal with the appeal fee within 10 days of the date of action. • Sign language interpreters will be available on request.
