COMMON COUNCIL COMMITTEE MEETING FINANCE, TAXATION AND ASSESSMENT COMMITTEE Ginnie Farrell, Chair Meeting called by: Ginnie Farrell, Chair Date: 11-16-20 Time: 5:30PM Nick Blais, Budget Office Invitees/Speakers Nick Riley, Chief Financial Officer, Budget Office David Galin, Chief of Staff, Mayor’s Office Brett William, Corporation Counsel Committee Members Farrell, Chair ☒ O’Brien ☒ Doesschate ☒ Robinson ☒ Balarin ☒ Present: Council Members Present: Ellis, Igoe, Hoey, Love and Fahey City Personnel Present: Danielle Gillespie, John-Raphael Pichardo and Michele Andre Minutes Agenda Item (s): Finance, Assessment and Taxation Committee meeting followed by Full Council Budget Caucus Questions and Discussion:  Council member Farrell called the meeting to order  Committee discussed Resolution 110.112.20 (MC)  John-Raphael Pichardo made amendments to Resolution 110.112.20 (MC)  Council member Doesschate made a statement regarding the Mayor’s salary in which Nicholas Blais, Mike O’Brien, and Council President Ellis responded to  Council member Doeschate, Conti, Igoe, Kimbrough, and Farrell discussed Ordinance 27.102.20 with Amendment A and Amendment B and the budget process  Council member Doesschate asked a question to which Council member Conti responded to.  John-Raphael Pichardo made amendments to Ordinance 27.102.20  Council member Doesschate provided recommendations for the budget intent memo (Resolution 111.112.20 (MC)) Public Comment: There was no public comment. Adjourn: The Chairperson asked for a motion to adjourn, which was duly made, seconded, and passed. This meeting was held following Governor Cuomo’s executive order 202.1.
