After discussing the proposal to construct a rear detached 2-story alley facing garage, the Commission
voted to approve the proposal with the following conditions-
• Remove the proposed trim from around the garage door and front, south elevation windows and
return the stucco back to the garage door and window frames; and
• Install projecting sills or build out the proposed stucco to give the appearance of projecting sills on
the front, south elevation windows.
The Commission made the following recommendation-
• The property owner has the option to install either a projecting cornince or install a fascia board
that projects 1-2 from the face of the building featuring trim and capped with metal flashing to give
the appearance of a cornice. If the property owner decides to go with one of the options they must
provide Planning staff with a proposed drawing for review.
ACTION: Approve with Conditions

Vote: 5-0
* Commissioner Rice abstained from vote.
