After discussing the proposal to replace the existing non-original windows and metal insert panels with aluminum 1-over-1 sash
windows and EIFS insert panels, the Commission voted to deny the application after finding the application did not meet
Criterion 375-2(F)(1)(d)(xi)(B) of the Rehabilitation Guidelines of the Historic Resources-Overlay in the City of Albany Unified
Sustainable Development Ordinance. The Commission made the following recommendation:
The applicant consider reducing the width and increasing the height of the proposed windows and revise the center
three bays to feature two, centered windows mulled together.
ACTION: Deny with recommendations
Motion to ACTION: M. Kaplan

or if you wish to speak during the public hearing or meeting, you must email hrc@albanyny.gov
with your name, contact number, and an email. Comments and/ or registration must occur on
or before 6:00pm Tuesday, March 16, 2021. The Historic Resources Commission will attempt to
accommodate registered attendees who wish to speak but did not email 24 hours in advance of
the meeting.
