Approval of September 27, 2023 meeting minutes Item I. tabled until next regular meeting scheduled for 10/25/23 II. Police Officer list #60-049 Non-Selection Appeals Commission moved into Executive Session at 4:38PM Executive Session ended at 4:51PM, Commission moved back to Regular Session Appellants were provided time to join and make their appeal to the Commission one at a time. Commission moved into Executive Session at 5:05PM Executive session ended at 5:09PM, Commission moved back to regular session Commissioner McNaughton made a motion to uphold the disqualification of candidate TS, motion seconded by Commissioner Yeboah. Motion passed and carried. Commissioner McNaughton made a motion to uphold the disqualification of candidate JI, motion seconded by Commissioner Cassidy. Motion passed and carried. Commissioner McNaughton made a motion to uphold the disqualification of candidate EM, motion seconded by Commissioner Yeboah. Motion passed and carried. Commissioner McNaughton made a motion to uphold the disqualification of candidate JJ, motion seconded by Commissioner Cassidy. Motion passed and carried. III. Amendment of Job Specifications  Emergency Services Communications Manager Motion to accept the amendment of job specifications made by Commissioner McNaughton, seconded by Commissioner Cassidy. Motion passed and carried. IV. Old Business  Community Engagement Clerk (Albany Public Library) Amendment Item IV. Tabled until the next regular meeting scheduled for 10/25/23 V. New Business  Legislation (S. 5486/A. 6855) Requires That Civil Service Examination Announcements Be Issued to (BOCES), School Districts, Public Colleges, Public Universities, Local Social Services Districts, and, To the Extent Practicable, Job Training Programs  Legislation (A. 7155/S. 5494) Allows For Provisional Employees to Credit Their Probationary Service to Any Probationary Time Required for Permanent Appointment to the Same Title Director of HR to circulate a memo via email regarding the new legislation that impacts the Civil Service Commission.
