COMMON COUNCIL COMMITTEE MEETING PLANNING, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND LAND USE COMMITTEE Cathy Fahey, Chair Meeting called by: Cathy Fahey, Chair Date: 09-17-20 Time: 5:30PM Committee Members Present: Fahey, Chair ☒ Doesschate ☒ Balarin ☒ Love ☒ Hoey ☒ Sarah Reginelli Invitees/Speakers Tracy Metzger Anthony Gabby Joseph Better Lloyd Stewart Jeff Quain Elizabeth Staubeth Council Members Present: Kimbrough and Johnson City Personnel Present: John-Raphael Pichardo Minutes Agenda Item (s): INTERVIEW CANDIDATES FOR THE CITY OF ALBANY INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT AGENCY (IDA) & CAPITAL RESOURCE CORPORATION (CRC) Questions and Discussion  The Chair called the meeting to order.  Sarah Reginelli provided a description of the City of Albany Industrial Development Agency (IDA) & Capital Resource Corporation (CRC) position.  IDA /CRC Chair, Tracy Metzer a opens up the public comment section.  Committee members interviewed Anthony Gabby, Joseph Better, Lloyd Stewart, Jeff Quain and Elizabeth Staubeth for the IDA / CRC.  Council Member Hoey made a motion to go to Executive Session under Public Officer Law 105 to discuss candidates for IDA/CRC, which was seconded by Council Member Love. The motion passed unanimously.  Council Member Hoey made a motion to get out of Executive Session, which was seconded by Council Member Fahey. The motion passed unanimously.  Council Member Hoey made a motion to appoint Llyod Stewart for opening position on IDA/CRC and appoint Anthony Gaddy for the position opening 12/31/2020 which was seconded by Council Member Doesschate. The motion passed unanimously. Public Comment: There was no public comment. Adjourn: Chair asked for a motion to adjourn, which was duly made, seconded, and passed.
