April 8, 2025
The regular meeting of the Building, Grounds and Cemetery Committee was called to order by
Chairperson Bert Hefty, at 6:30 p.m. at the Albany Village Hall, 206 North Water Street, Albany, WI.
Members present were: Hefty, Tonya Stephen and David King. Absent was: Kimberly Klein and
Elisabeth Briggs. Also present: Lonnie Gill.
Proof of posting was verified.
MINUTES: Previous minutes of March 11, 2025 were reviewed.
CEMETERY PRICING: Discussion on raising cemetery rates; recommended taking to the Village
Board.
RECYCLE CENTER: Discussion on recycle/garbage options. The County landfill has increased
pricing by 50% with the potential of raising 100%; have received some quotes on curbside pick-up.
NONRESIDENT BRUSH / COMPOST: Discussion on finding a solution to nonresident’s dumping
brush/compost; a camera will be installed. The committee recommends taking to the Village Board
for further review.
ANNOUNCEMENT AND FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS: Nothing.
ADJOURNMENT: Adjourned.

Wisconsin Statutes, that a meeting of the Building, Grounds, Cemetery, Recycle
Committee of the Board of Trustees of the Village of Albany will be held at 6:30 p.m. on
Tuesday, April 8th, 2025, located at the Albany Village Hall, 206 N. Water Street,
Albany, Wisconsin.
