PUBLIC HEARING / PLANS COMMISSION April 3, 2025 The Public Hearing and regular meeting of the Plans Commission was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by President Kim Blumer in the Albany Village Hall. Members present were: Blumer, Michelle Monson, Fred Johnson and David King. Absent: Larry Ommodt. Also present: Carson Brewer and Mitch Marty. Proof of posting was verified. MINUTES: Motion by Monson, seconded by Johnson, to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as printed. All ayes. Motion carried. PUBLIC HEARING – VARIANCE 703 5TH STREET: Motion by Johnson, seconded by Monson, to approve the variances as requested. All ayes. Motion carried. The variances are as follows: a. Mobile Home #1 – 11’ variance on the side to 5th Street; 7’ variance in the rear; and a 4’ variance between existing Mobile Home #2. b. Mobile Home #4 – 12’ variance on the front to Cincinnati Street; 6’ variance in the rear; 11’ variance on the side; and a 1’ variance between existing Mobile Home #3. SET 2025 CONDITIONAL USE AND VARIATION FEES: Motion by Monson, seconded by King, to set the conditional use and variation fees at $300. All ayes. Motion carried. FENCE PLANS: Motion by Monson, seconded by Johnson, to approve the fence plan 704 6th Street. All ayes. Motion carried. King mentioned that there is a cord still running to the storage shed on this property; Brewer will have someone investigate it. CHICKEN PERMITS: Nothing.
