FINANCE AND INSURANCE COMMITTEE
October 19, 2022
The Finance and Insurance Committee was called to order by Chairperson Eileen Althaus on
Wednesday, October 19, 2022 in the Albany Village Hall at 6:30 P.M. Members present were:
Althaus, Kim Blumer and Larry Ommodt. Absent: Michelle Monson and Barb Briggs. Also
present were: Michelle Brewer, Lonnie Gill, and Bob Ritter.
Proof of posting was verified.
UNCASHED CHECKS: A list of uncashed checks were reviewed. After some discussion, a
motion was made by Monson, seconded by Ommodt to void the following checks: #1123-$13.25
and #1333-$27.70. Carried.
2023 BUDGET: All present went through each line of the budget and discussed/recommended
each amount. With some small adjustments, a balanced budget was achieved. Motion by Blumer,
seconded by Ommodt, to recommend the 2023 budget in the amount of $1,162,775.00. Carried.
CARRYOVERS: After reviewing the 2023 Carryovers, it was decided to add $3,000 to the Tree
Account. Motion by Blumer, seconded by Ommodt, to approve the 2023 Carryovers, with the
addition of the $3,000 to the Tree Account, totaling $93,302. Carried.
FUTURE ITEMS: Nothing at this time.
ADJOURN: Motion by Ommodt, seconded by Blumer to adjourn. Carried.

Wisconsin Statutes, that a meeting of the Finance and Insurance Committee of the Board
