FINANCE AND INSURANCE COMMITTEE
October 21, 2025
The Finance and Insurance Committee was called to order by Chairperson Michelle Monson on
Wednesday, October 21, 2025 in the Albany Village Hall at 6:35 P.M. Members present were:
Monson, Paul Rhyner, Barb Briggs and Larry Ommodt. Absent: Kim Blumer. Also present were:
Michelle Brewer, Lonnie Gill and Robert Ritter.
Proof of posting was verified.
UNCASHED CHECKS: Nothing.
2026 BUDGET: The committee went through each line of the budget and
discussed/recommended each amount; with some minor adjustments, a balanced budget was
achieved. Motion by Briggs, seconded by Rhyner, to recommend the 2026 budget in the amount of
$1,252,206.00. All ayes. Motion carried.
2026 SET ASIDES: After reviewing the 2026 Set Asides; motion by Monson, seconded by
Ommodt, to approve the 2026 Carryovers totaling $115,845. All ayes. Motion carried.
CONCERNS/ANNOUNCEMENTS/FUTURE ITEMS: Nothing.
ADJOURN: Motion by Rhyner, seconded by Ommodt, to adjourn. Carried.
