PARKS COMMISSION August 15th, 2022 The Parks Commission met at the Albany Village Hall on Monday, August 15th, 2022. The meeting was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by Tonya Stephan. Roll call was taken with the following members present: Stephan, Eileen Althaus, Berty Hefty, Larry Ommodt, and Rich Walcholz. Also present: Lonnie Gill and Lisa Nickols. Proof of posting was verified. MINUTES: Motion by Hefty, seconded by Wacholz, to approve the minutes of the last meeting as printed. Carried. TOWER HILL PARK UPDATE: Tabled until next meeting FALL BASEBALL FIELD USE: High school traveling league starting August 28th - October 1st. Double header games every Sunday starting at 10am. October 9th reserved for a rain date makeup. Rich, Lonnie, and Andy to take care of field and Lisa to open concessions. Motion by Stephan, seconded by Hefty to allow Silver Sluggers Fall league to use Village Park. Carried. ANNOUNCEMENTS AND FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS: Tower Hill Park Update, removing sod from baseball field, and concerns of Village Park being kept clean.
