Plans Commission

PLANS COMMISSION September 1, 2022 The regular meeting of the Plans Commission was called to order at 6:30 p.m. by President Kim Blumer in the Albany Village Hall. Members present were: Blumer, Eileen Althaus, Michelle Monson, David King, and Paul Rhyner. Absent: Larry Ommodt. Also present: Lonnie Gill. Proof of posting was verified. MINUTES: Motion by Rhyner, seconded by Althaus, to approve the minutes of the previous meeting as printed. Carried. INDUSTRIAL PARK STORAGE STORAGE SHEDS PROPOSAL: Some discussion about the 2006 Northeast Storm water District / Industrial Park Storm water Pond assessments. This item will go before the September Street & Utility meeting and then will come back to the Plans meeting. M4 Storage, LLC (Storage Sheds Owner), was originally quoted $9,000 for their property storm water assessment fees. At the July 6, 2022 Street & Utility meeting and August 1, 2022 Village Board meeting, it was agreed to the $9,000 assessment fee. After some research, it was discovered the wrong rate was used and the actual assessment fee should be $17,072. Motion by Monson, seconded by Rhyner, to approve the $9,000 assessment fee for the property M4 Storage, LLC will develop storage sheds. Carried. Motion by Blumer, seconded by Rhyner, to approve M4 Storage, LLC storage sheds plan contingent on meeting state highway setbacks, approval from DNR on storm water plan and payment of storm water assessment fee. Carried. FENCE PLANS: Motion by Monson, seconded by Rhyner, to approve the fence plan for 410 S. Mill Street, Albany WI. Carried. CHICKEN PERMITS: There were none.
