STREET AND UTILITY COMMITTEE October 7, 2024 The regular meeting of the Street and Utility Committee was called to order at 6:30 p.m. in the Albany Village Hall by Chairperson Bert Hefty. Members present were: Hefty, Kim Blumer, Fred Johnson and Jim Mauerman. Also present: Lonnie Gill, Ex-Officio, and Andrew Skog of Mead & Hunt. Proof of posting was verified. MINUTES: Motion by Hefty, seconded by Mauerman, to approve the previous minutes as printed. Carried. SLIP LINING AND MANHOLE SEWER UPDATE: Skog to send information to Gill on Notice of Intent to apply for DNR Clean water program. STORM WATER UTILITY: Skog will look into the pricing for possible storm water utility planning. 2025 BUDGET: Motion by Johnson, seconded by Mauerman, to send the 2025 budget to the finance meeting. Carried. TRAINING: Gill reported that Ricky DeNure will be joining public works for emergency backup purposes. Motion by Blumer, seconded by Johnson, to send DeNure to water and sewer license renewal classes on Oct 15, 24, 30, 2024 in Plover, WI at a total cost of $330. Carried. ANNOUNCEMENTS AND FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS: Gill reported that Andrew Gertsch to test in December for water systems and Gill to test for sanitation systems.
