STREET AND UTILITY COMMITTEE May 5, 2025 The regular meeting of the Street and Utility Committee was called to order at 6:30 p.m. in the Albany Village Hall by Chairperson Fred Johnson. Members present were: Johnson, Bert Hefty, Kim Blumer, Brooke Helley and Jim Mauerman. Also present: Lonnie Gill, Ex-Officio Proof of posting was verified. MINUTES: Motion by Hefty, seconded by Mauerman, to approve the previous minutes as printed. All ayes. Motion carried. BID OPENING FOR PULLING AND INSPECTING WELLS #1 &#2: There were two bids received for pulling and inspecting wells. Motion by Blumer, seconded by Mauerman, to accept CTW bid in the amount of $28,662. All ayes. Motion carried. Gill to bring final information to May board meeting. SEWER LINE / MANHOLE SLIP LINE: Gill will bring more information to the June Meeting, 2025 ROAD WORK: Motion by Hefty, seconded by Blumer, to accept 2025 road work as submitted by Gill. Carried. UTILITY HOOKUP RATES FOR NEW SERVICE: Gill will gather pricing information from surrounding municipalities and bring to the next meeting. TRAINING: Motion by Blumer, seconded by Mauerman, to send Gill to Rural Water Conference May 14, 2025, to obtain 6 credits at no cost; and to send Blumer to Wastewater training June 5, 2025, at a cost of $45.00. All ayes. Motion carried. ANNOUNCEMENTS AND FUTURE AGENDA ITEMS: Gill will call about culvert prices for , and utility hook up rates for new service.
