June 15, 2026 Alexandria City Council Call to Order: This meeting of the Alexandria City Council was called to order by Mayor Naselroad. Council Members - Roger Cuneo, present; John Burdsall, present; Wendi Goens, absent; Amy McCurry, present; Dave Luck, absent; Donna Key-Kerr, absent; and Jeremy VanErman, present. Also, in attendance were City Attorney, Chou-il Lee, and Clerk-Treasurer Darcy VanErman. Public Comment: There were no members of the community present requesting to publicly address the Council. Approval of Minutes/Claims/Payroll: Jeremy VanErman motioned to approve the Meeting Minutes for June 1, 2026. Roger Cuneo second the motion. All in favor; motion carries. The City Docket presented to Council for their approval in the amount of $58,627.84. Amy McCurry motioned to approve the Docket. John Burdsall second the motion. All in favor; motion carries.  There was some brief discussion about the bill that was withheld from the last meeting and if it was in this cycle for approval. Enterprise Docket presented to Council for their approval in the amount of $102,080.00. Roger Cuneo motioned to approve the Docket. Jeremy VanErman second the motion. All in favor; motion carries. John Burdsall motioned to approve the Payroll from June 12, 2026 in the amount of $145,021.60. Jeremy VanErman second the motion. All in favor; motion carries.  Amy McCurry spoke to her conversation with Darcy VanErman regarding the Payroll lines.  Jeremy VanErman spoke to his conversations with consultant, Suzy Bass, and asked the other members if they would like a presentation with her and Wes as he has found his conversations with Suzy to be very helpful. Communication: Ordinances/Resolutions: Old Business:  City Council Minutes June 15, 2026 Page 2 New Business: Other Business: Amy McCurry reminded everyone to the 250 year celebration that will be held in Beulah Park on June 20th. She is so thankful that the committee chose Alexandria to host this county wide celebration. Jeremy VanErman spoke to his findings with his growing blight list and inquired how other members were doing with theirs. Amy McCurry inquired to who the best point of contact is for these matters.
