Meeting called to Order
Mayor Stoneburner called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m.
Roll Call
Present: Councilmembers Bembas, Blair, Gillis, Harris, Martin, Skarbek and Mayor
Stoneburner.
Others Present: City Manager Denice Gerstenberg, Fire Chief Joe Doan, City Clerk
Lisa Borgacz, Finance Director Linda Mackie, Brian Ranger, Algonac High School
Wrestling Coach and Team members.
Moment of Silent Prayer
Mayor Stoneburner called for a moment of silent prayer.
Pledge of Allegiance
Mayor Stoneburner led the Pledge of Allegiance.
Approve Agenda
Motion by Bembas, supported by Gillis to approve the agenda as amended. Motion
carried.
Presentations
Algonac Asset Award - Algonac High School Wrestling Team. Councilman Rocky
Gillis presented the Award to Coach Brian Ranger and to the members of the
Algonac High School Wrestling team for all of their achievements that led to an
outstanding year. Team members present were Chris Campbell, Lucky Gartin, Jake
Kasner, Josh Kasner, Sky Langewicz, Griffin Degowske, Connor Hadden, Reid
Hiltunen, Mark Romanowski and Steven Shannon.

Item Title: To approve installation of Dog Park Memorial Pavers: $5,316

Summary
Attached is a quote from D&E Landscaping & Grading to install brick pavers at Lions
Field for a pet memorial.
The pet memorial will include gray concrete 4" x 8" and red concrete 12" x 12" bricks.
See attached picture. It will be located at the end of the asphalt path near the dog
park.
Attached is draft paver order form.
$5,000 was approved in the 2021-2022 budget for this project. Bricks purchased will
help maintain the park.
If approved, D & E intend to start this project mid-July.
