Submitted by: Joshua Stewart, Public Services Superintendent Summary In accordance with Michigan’s Safe Drinking Water Act, PA 399 of 1976, as amended, all community public water supplies are required to pay an annual fee based on population served. The fee is required so the State of Michigan can regulate the public water supply. The Act also calls for each community supply provider to pay the annual fee by November 30th each year, and for a penalty of 9% per annum added for failure to submit the payment on time. Suggested Action: MOVED BY: SUPPORTED BY: RESOLVED, to approve payment of the Community Public Water Supply Annual Fee to the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes and Energy (EGLE), whose address is P.O. Box 30657, Lansing, MI 48909, in the amount of $1,618.08. APPROVED/Denied Southeast Michigan Designated Management Agency Program Annual Report: FY 2022-2023
