Amarillo City Hall, Council Chamber, 623 S. Johnson, Third Floor, Amarillo, Texas
Amarillo City Hall is accessible to individuals with disabilities through its main entry on the west side (623
South Johnson Street) of the building at the main entrance. Access ramps leading to the main entry are
located to the north and south of the main entry. Parking spaces for individuals with disabilities are available
in the west parking lot.
City Hall is equipped with restroom facilities, communications equipment, and elevators that are accessible.
Individuals with disabilities who require special accommodations, or a sign language interpreter must
contact the City Secretary’s Office 48 hours prior to meeting time by telephoning 378-3013 or the City TDD
number at 378-4229.
Please note: The City Council may take up items out of the order shown on any Agenda. The City Council reserves the right to
discuss all or part of any item in an executive session at any time during a meeting or work session, as necessary and allowed by
state law.
The City Attorney’s Office has reviewed the agenda and is of the opinion that all items noticed therein described for open and/or
closed session comply with the Texas Open Meetings Act (“Act”) and that this opinion may be relied upon by City officials for
all purposes, including but not limited to, Section 551.144 of the Act as amended. Votes or final decisions are made only in open
Regular or Special meetings, not in either a work session or executive session.

3. Strategic Planning Workshop This item is a facilitated workshop for the City Council and senior
staff to discuss and develop the City’s strategic goals, priorities, and desired direction. The Council
may discuss numerous broad topics, such as public safety, infrastructure, development, community
services, parks and recreation, water resources, public works, finance, council pillars, policies and
procedures and other matters related to the desired direction and plans for the City, as well as
general issues and matters related to the current and future needs and expectations for the City. The
Council may reach broad consensus on the mission, values, priorities, expectations, milestones,
funding options and opportunities for the City, but no final decision or vote will occur.
4. Adjourn

Johnson, Amarillo, Texas, and on the City website (www.amarillo.gov) at least three business days prior to
the meeting date in accordance with the Open Meetings Laws of the State of Texas, Chapter 551, Texas
