PARC Tax Advisory Board July 22, 2015 Bank of American Conference Room Attendees Brian Thompson Laurel Shelley Staci Carroll Dale Gunther Nan Kuhn Excused James Hansen, Joe Heaps The meeting started a 6:30 pm. Dale Gunther moved to approve the June 10, 2015 meeting minutes. Staci Carroll seconded the motion and passed unanimously. Mini and Major grant classification  50/50 split between interests  Distribute the entire annual of funds annually  A thorough legal and financial review  Use of parks/rec funds to upgrade existing facilities  More smaller projects - 35% funds, other 65%  Do our own survey or get info from the city gathered during recent surveys  Limiting request presentation time before the committee Questions 1. Need PARC Logo or city logo or both 2. Need Bylaws? 3. Can recipient place funds in a bank and earn interest or does it need to be spent the year received? 4. Put Logo on all projects Assignments Made: 1. Begin working on the application document - Staci and Joe 2. Figure the application process and timeline - Brian and Dale 3. Determine communication plan - Laurel and Nan 4. Understand the city’s capabilities to assist w/IT, legal, administration, etc. - James Our next meeting is scheduled for September 2nd at 5:30pm The meeting adjourned at 7:30 pm.
